Isn’t She Lovely is a photoshoot I planned and styled, and it served as the foundation for my Bigger Than You series. I dressed the model, Baryen S., in all black so the focus would fall on her facial features, and I applied glitter and eyeshadow to draw even more attention to her eyes. The shoot took place at the Student Innovation Center at Iowa State University, where the LED lighting let me work in red, blue, and purple, the main colors of the series. I admired the model’s skin tone and chose lighting that would complement her best.
